The decision to start the website was taken during the general body meeting which was held recently in Madgaon.
"The main agenda discussed at the meeting was to increase our membership and resolve Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issues that will benefit the dealers in the region," Kuncoleinkar added.
Also adding to the local partners' concern is the absence of authorized service centers in the state. This is yet another issue that GIBA will escalate to the leading vendors. Right now, products are sent to Mumbai for repair, which increases the turnaround time for getting the product serviced.
"One reason why Goa lags behind is because there is no local repairing center of machines by authorized parties. Sending products to Mumbai takes a lot of time, which adds to dealer and customer inconvenience," added Shrivallabh Sardesai, Treasurer, GIBA.
