As a media management system designed to work exclusively with Unisys MCP- and MCPvm- based hosts, DSI's FileManager is completely scalable to fit any capacity requirements.

DSI's FileManager software features a future-proof design and can integrate with multiple storage environments. This new software provides a simplified interface to the Unisys MCP file system, as well as a file tracking mechanism so that files that have been backed up may be recovered more easily said the press release.

Further it added, Files that are backed up by a FileManager process are recorded in the FileManager database, and a reporting system allows the user to see which files are backed up or query on files or directories for availability.
