BANGALORE, INDIA: Polaris Software Lab, a provider in IT services, named Govind Singhal as the chief operating officer of Global Delivery and Operations, and Karthik Kaushik as president- Global Sales and Account Management.

Kaushik and Shinghal will report to Arun Jain, chairman and CEO.

Govind Singhal and Kartik Kaushik have held various positions in the company and are key members of the management committee, a press release said on Tuesday.

Prior to their elevation, Govind Singhal was the CEO of Polaris BPO subsidiary-Optimus and Kartik Kaushik was the CEO of Polaris Americas.

This development came in the wake of resignation of Arup Gupta, who was the COO and executive director, added the release.
