NEW DELHI, INDIA: Nokia India today appointed Suresh Vedula as the head of its Business Mobility division.

Vedula, to be based in Delhi, will be responsible for the overall operations of enterprise solutions group in India.

Vedula joins Nokia India from British Telecom, India where he was the head, Business Development. Prior to BT India, Vedula worked with various IT and telecom companies like Motorola (Networks), IBM and Wipro.

"We are confident that Suresh's industry experience will further strengthen our presence as a leading provider for world class business-focused products and solutions in the Indian market," said D Shivakumar, managing director, Nokia India.

"India continues to offer huge opportunity for business mobility and Nokia is best positioned to drive this growth with our comprehensive suite of business mobility solutions.
