HCL SANAKO partner for educational excellence

BANGALORE, INDIA: HCL Infosystems India’s hardware, services and ICT system Integration company today announced signing of a strategic business partnership with SANAKO Corporation, an education technology company developing language teaching solutions.

The partnership will engage HCL’s expertise in providing total technology solutions with SANAKO’S pedagogical expertise in education specifically language learning, to develop excellence in Indian education, said a press release.

With extensive joint expertise in serving the educational sector, SANAKO and HCL will collaborate to provide innovative and localized solutions that improve managed Internet-era learning outcomes in the classroom, as well as across campuses and schools.

Inked at the 'Technology Summit and Technology Platform Conference' in New Delhi, this long-term strategic agreement is part of the India-Finland Technology Partnership Forum. With this agreement the companies aim to provide customers with comprehensive integrated pedagogical teaching solutions that include modern learning technology, relevant content and localized customer-oriented services, the release added.

On this occasion, SANAKO also announced the inauguration of its India regional office in New Delhi which will support the implementation of SANAKO strategy in India.

SANAKO Corporation, executive vice president, Juha Merinen said that the strategic partnership with HCL would bring teaching in India into the rapidly evolving modern era of learning.

“Our goal is to co-operate only with the highest quality partners worldwide to provide value-added solutions and services for our customers. Our offering combined with HCL solutions will facilitate development of a 1:1 learning infrastructure to enhance personalized learning and to improve measurable learning outcomes," Merinen added.

Commenting on the occasion J.V. Ramamurthy, chief operating officer, HCL Infosystems Ltd said, "With increasing global exposure it is imperative for the Indian education sector to take rapid strides towards inclusive learning. we are sure that this strategic partnership will bring greater benefits to our customers and that it will allow both us and our partners to lay a foundation for the future of global learning in India."
