After live broadcast of poll results, the online TV channel will broadcast union budget's live feed on Facebook for the first time

MUMBAI, INDIA: Nautanki.tv, the on-line entertainment broadcast platform, is all set to broadcast live feed of the forthcoming Union Budget 2009-10 on the highly popular social networking site, Facebook.com.

All the Facebook users will be able to access the live streaming of the Union Budget's broadcast from Monday onwards including the pre- and post-budget discussion. Also, other websites users and bloggers can embed and access the same live feed from Nautanki.tv without any restrictions.

According to Sunil Nair, founder and CEO of Nautanki.TV Networks, the Union Budget is very important for not only businesses but also for all people across the country as it has huge impact on businesses and lives of people.

On selecting Facebook, Nair says the audience on the social networking portal is an intelligent one and always like to discuss, debate and comment on key issues.

"Even these users on the Internet belong to the large population of India and are also affected by the budget's outcome."

Moreover, Nair and his team are closely working and trying to bring in experts from various industry along with media persons while the live- broadcast is in progress.

"The idea is to bring industry people and experts to post comment or raise their opinion as the event happens in real-time and then it can help users to discuss out those issues," he explains.

The common users can post their budget wish lists that will be directly communicated with the Finance Minister and even they can interact online with the industry experts and prominent people. Some of these pages, will go live in next couple of days, according to Nair.

"Slowly the Internet is spreading in India, we are taking leadership on the Internet front and hope to see such more things to happen in future. It's really good that such things are happening out in India and it will be noticed across the world," Nair says about the innovative initiative.
