NEW DELHI, INDIA: Kronos Incorporated, a workforce management solutions company said that it will expand its operations by 2012.
The company is also optimistic about the market opportunities in the country and believes that tools that help control labor costs, minimize compliance risk, and improve workforce productivity would be on rise.
The Indian enterprise software market showed growth and recovery in 2010. Major software vendors also widened their product portfolios and earned revenues above the industry average.
As a part of its expansion plans, Kronos said that it would also leverage its cloud expertise.
In an interaction with CIOL, Aron J. Ain, CEO, Kronos Incorporated said that in 2012, the company will continue its global expansion efforts; actively promote and grow cloud services business; and continue to revolutionize the way organizations manage their workforce.
The company operates three engineering centers globally, including the India center in Noida. "Our India center contributes significantly in terms of product research and development to the global product roadmap," said Ain.
The developers and engineers at Kronos India R&D centre are significantly involved in the development of Kronos workforce management applications. The company also said that the India market is critical for it from a high-end engineering skills perspective.
"We offer an opportunity for Indian engineers to work and innovate with our company in the space of workforce management," added Ain.
Kronos has already implemented its solutions in various organizations that include; Viraj Steel, Bombardier and Medanta.
