NEW DELHI, INDIA: Taiwan-based Genius, IT and consumer electronics brand, has launched its eco-friendly HP-02NC, a foldable noise –canceling headphone.

The first noise-canceling headphone is designed to eliminate any surrounding noise for music listening. When in airplane, train or the subway, with device on, one can enjoy clean music or listen to movies without any outside interruption, Genius said in a statement.

Sandeep Ramani, country manager, KYE Systems (India) Corp, said, "Genius HP-02NC reduces ambient noise, and provides a quieter environment to enhance audio entertainment. Ambient sound is synthesized with an anti-sound signal produce by the noise canceling circuit, and reduced (Over 10dB is reduced at 300Hz) so you can hear music against a quieter background."

It is available with Transtek, Tirupati, Ingram Micro and Redington, the authorized distributors for Genius in India. It is priced at Rs 6499.
